Free Wireless Internet connection (WIFI) in the public areas

Our priority is to provide the best service, that's why we offer free WiFi connection in the public areas of the hotel (Hall, restaurant, coffee-bar).

In the rooms, offering a good broadband service is expensive, so we are pleased to provide you with the most efficient, powerful and secure connection at a reasonable price:

• Price 24 hours: 10,50 euros

Buffet Breakfast

The most important meal of the day is breakfast, so our breakfast buffet will provide everything you need to get your day off to a flying start: typical products for a Mediterranean diet, pure olive oil from a number of different regions, several types of bread, top quality jamón serrano, seasonal fruit, cereals and products for special diets. Because we want you to feel at home.

Outdoor swimming pool

What could be better than bathing in our outdoor swimming pool! Make the most of unforgettable surroundings. Towels available free of charge from the hotel reception. From 25th June to 20th September.

Mini club Abby

To give the young members of the family a fabbyulous holiday. The abba Playa Gijón Hotel has created the Mini clubAbby, an entertainments programme of activities for children aged 4 to 12. Accompanied by a professional group of assistants, children can take part in manual skills activities, educational games and sports in the open air, while discovering Gijón and Asturias' culture.
It is essential that you register in advance.

If you are looking to relax while enjoying the beneficial effects of water, the abba Playa Gijón is the hotel for you. We have a jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna and fitness centre.

Terrace-Solarium

Relax and bask in the sun of Gijón while taking in views of the sea and the park. From the terrace you will enjoy impressive, panoramic views of the waterfront and the old fishermens' district of Cimadevilla, site of the old Roman settlement from which Gijón, known in the old days as Gigia, takes its name.

The beach on your doorstep

As easy as crossing the street. San Lorenzo beach, in the heart of Gijón, is the best place to go for a day at the seaside. Its promenade, over 5 kilometres in length, runs from the Iglesia de San Pedro, in the centre, to the Playa de la Ñora, on the outskirts of the borough of Villaviciosa.

Our system can identify the vehicle, authorize the service and alert you by e-mail or SMS when the charge is complete. In addition, the hotel Abba Playa Gijón can rent electric motorcycles.
